Colin had his first show success with a Mallard duck. She was one of the first three ducklings he hatched and is now referred to as 'Carnwath' - the show where she won best waterfowl. We are not sure if 'attitude' is a necessary ingredient in a show winning duck, but she certainly has it. She definitely likes people to notice her and earplugs would sometimes come in handy - especially on the way to a show!
